Our day at Todd lake
We love to go to Todd Lake once the road is clear of snow. The lake in the spring time is surrounded by wild flowers and full of tadpoles waiting to become frogs! We brought Nova Denali (She is an Alaskan Husky) with us so that I would have a buddy to play with on our hike. Lots of nice wetlands to cross with many small streams that were ice cold and ours to jump over! Still snow in the shade so Nova was super happy and played in the snow every time that found some.
There is a peace to Todd Lake so we tried not to bark a lot and just enjoyed mother nature at her very best. After Todd lake we went to Elk lake for lunch which is always the best part of our trips to the Cascade lakes.
